Everyone Knows that Fruits and vegetables are composed of various colors of the rainbow, but did you know that those colors can actually directly affect your health? See, these colors contain different antioxidants. Lets take a peek at a few of them...
Pink and Red fruits and vegetables contain powerful antioxidants called Flavonoids, which help protect your body from viruses and allergens. They can even protect against heart disease and cancer! The oddballs of this group, the tomato, gets its red color from lycopene. Lycopene may help prevent and treat prostate cancer. Another notable oddball is cranberries, which contain chemical compounds that can help you recover from a stroke and it even helps prevent memory loss.
Greens. We all know that greens are healthy, but did you know that green vegetables contain a molecule called Chlorophyll, which is what is responsible for the green color. It contains Magnesium, which is needed to maintain healthy bones and muscles.
Fruits and vegies with the colors Orange and Yellow help the reproductive system, enhance the immune system, and protect cells from free radicals.
Blue and Violet colored fruits and vegetables are proven to help many age-related diseases.

Wooden Cell Phone!!! Transforming a popular product into a wooden version is a bizarre development, but the cell phone has just undergone such treatment. The Maple Phone has been developed by two Koreans, Hyun Jin Yoon and Eun Hak Lee as they prove that phones do not need to follow the same trend of plastic products. The wooden phone exhibits a touch sensitive keypad and also a camera. For the touchpad to work correctly, we believe that some different materials are used, as this would be impossible based on wood alone. The phone is great from an environmental perspective, since wood is a natural source and completely renewable. Perhaps this will pave the way for future wooden products, for example...
