 Uusally in this page of Spoon I have always talked about

English or American songs i liked...but this time i would like to

change..and to indroduce you one of my favourite Italian

singers..His name is Tiziano Ferro..He is very famous in

Italy..He got a great voice..He  writes his own songs..and he

plays piano also..His voice is deep and soulfoul..and his songs are

so romantic..When im on blue mood i listen to him always lol..

(even if as u all know Rose is happy always ..or almost always).

Well hmm what else i can say? i think the best thing to do is to

show you  the video of one his songs..I think its my

favourite ..even if its difficult to choose among his songs :)..the

song i picked is "Sere Nere" ..it means "Black Evenings"  

 

Sicilian Caponata

Ingredients
2 Small eggplant
2 tablespoon salt
1/4 litre oil
1 large onion
3 red peppers
2 sticks celery
2x400g tin tomatoes
3 tablespoon brown vinegar
1+1/2 tablespoon sugar
2 cloves garlic
12 black olives
1 +1/2 tablespoon capers
6 leaves fresh basil
salt & ground black pepper
Method
Cut washed eggplant into 1 cm. cubes, sprinkle with salt, mix well let
drain in acolander for 1 hour, rinse under cold running water, pat dry.
Heat the oil in a largepan, add the onion peeled and roughly chopped, dice peppers & celery, cook overmoderate heat for 5 - 8 minutes stirring, Add eggplant and cook further 5 minutes stirring.Liquidize the tomatoes, add to the pan with vinegar, sugar, basil andcrushed garlic, cook for 2 minutes longer, add capers & olives cut in quarters simmer uncovered over moderate heat for 15 minutes or until most of the liquid has been evaporated. Season with salt and ground black pepper.
