it has been dififcult to pick my favourite Christmas movie..and after a

great deal of consideration i picked this one .."Life is wonderful" ..

aFrank Capra masterpiece.

The film takes place in the town of Bedford Falls, just after World War

II. On Christmas Eve 1946,George Bailey (James Stewart) is deeply

depressed, suicidal even.Prayers for George are heard by the angels.

Clarence Odbody (Henry Travers), an Angel Second Class, is sent to

Earth to save him—and thereby earn his wings.

Joseph, the head angel, reviews George's life with Clarence.

Clarence  shows George all the people whose lives have been touched

by him and the difference he  made to the community in which he lives.

shown just how many lives he has touched and affected,  helping

clarence to earn his wings and improving life in his community

George Bailey eventually realizes that, despite his very own problems,

the realization dawns,he  "really has a wonderful life."

The film is regarded as a classic  although, due to its high production

costs and strong competition at the box office, financially, it was

considered a "flop."  Despite the unsuccsessful nominations for five

Oscars,"Its a wonderful life  has been recognized by the American Film

Institute as one of the 100 best American films ever made,

and placed number one on their list of the most inspirational American

 films of all time.

An Interview with

Raul

What are your top 5 movies ?

The first one at the top of my head has to be

Top gun  ,whenever i know this movie will be on tv, i have to see it, i mean the way maverick recovers from that  confidence  meltdown and that blaming himelf  thing to  react at the most important part of the plane fight and kill the bad guys tells me that even though you are passing through some tough time in your  live , there is always an inner hope or strength that will help you to  overcome those kind of situations.

And because i’m a big fan of cars and engines i have to  choose FAST and Furious and i mean the  4th  of them. The  great race scenes  , the visual effects, the speed,  the drifts,  everything makes  me wanna see it again and again.

Talking about horror/ suspense movies are the ones i like the most but if i have to pick one it’d be

“Wrong turn”, maybe not a very known movie  but i like it a lot, it's about a group of friends who  get lost in the forest  where cannibalisticmountain men, all of them horribly disfigured, happened to live.

although i’m not a big fan of drama movie, i really like “ghost”, a very good story  but  unlucky for Molly(demi moore) i mean “why didnt he just give his wallet to the thief” lol. Besides all that i  like the way the  director represents how it is after you die and it really makesyou  wonder what comes next after death.

now comedy hmmm  i like “little man”  with the guys who acted in “white chicks”, very funny one i mean the baby with a grown-up man face  says it  all and  the pranks the baby does makes it hilarious for me.
